Fulcrum invests in healthcare services and B2B tech executives searching for $5 million to $30 million of equity in minority and majority growth opportunities.

The new investment was backed by Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund and Softbank. The latest funding was a series E that includes equity financing of more than $50 million as well as debt financing.

The funding builds upon a previous investment from philanthropist Carrie Walton Penner through Fiore Ventures, as well as investments from Flare Capital, Polaris Partners, California Health Care Foundation, and others.

The raise was led by existing investors Ally Bridge, Canvas Ventures, General Atlantic, Hercules Capital, and others.

Menlo Ventures led the round with participation from SamsungNEXT, ION, Eight Roads, Arkin Digital Health and F-Prime Capital. Existing investors aMoon and lool ventures also participated.  

Aesthetic Partners joins forces with physician-led medical aesthetics, cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery clinics in suburban markets throughout the U.S.

The fundraise was co-led by Optum Ventures and .406 Ventures, with participation from GreyMatter Capital and additional angel investors.

MedSpa’s private-equity owner Persistence Capital Partners in Toronto raised 375 million Canadian dollars, or around $271 million, for the PCP MSP II vehicle, which has held its final close, Morgan Stanley said.

Founded in 2018 in Sarasota, FL, Parkview is a DSO that currently manages 22 dental practices that provide both general dentistry and specialty dental services. Since its founding, Parkview has expanded from eight practices, having grown revenue at a 50% CAGR since 2019.

The financing was led by NEXT VENTURES, with participation from PTX Capital, Create Health Ventures, OCA Ventures, CHCF Innovation Fund, Kapor Capital, Augment Ventures, Newark Venture Partners,  Y Combinator, Kleiner Perkins, Gaingels, and several notable healthcare angel investors including Jay Desai.
